MATERIALS HANDLER SUPERVISOR - TITLE 32

As a MATERIALS HANDLER SUPERVISOR - TITLE 32, WS-6907-6, you will supervise workers in accomplishing the mission and operations of the organization and perform associated non-supervisory work. Establish deadlines and priorities. Determine skills, materials and equipment required to do the work. Participate in the planning of work schedules and development of budget requests. Provide workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations for projected work. Assign tasks and explain work requirements, methods, and procedures. Provide assistance on difficult or new problem areas. Review work in progress or on completion. Investigate work related problems and implement corrective actions. Recommend selection of personnel to fill vacancies. Set performance requirements, make performance appraisals, determine training needs of subordinates and arrange for its accomplishment. Adjust complaints through discussions with employees and union representatives. Maintain production reports and records. Implement regulatory safety requirements. Ensure subordinates wear appropriate safety equipment and follow pertinent safety precautions. Prepare for and participate in various types of evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience which demonstrates the ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs; ability to explain manuals and work/procedures; and to prepare production records, work records and reports. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 36 months experience performing inventory and inspections to determine serviceability of stocked items. Experience in interpreting and applying written instructions, reference materials, publications, and manuals. Experience in setting up and rotating storage locations considering factors such as life expectancy, available space, product turnover, etc. Experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower grade personnel. Experience which required the review of work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines. Experience that provided knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function. Experience which demonstrates the ability to supervise or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and knowledge of shop processes. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
