TRAINING OFFICER - TITLE 32

As a TRAINING OFFICER - TITLE 32, GS-1702-9, you will assist with the evaluation of training programs for the state. Develop plans that support the commander's training guidance. Issue instructions and procedures to subordinate organizations. Conduct and/or coordinates staff assistance visits and command level inspections in the area of training, physical security and readiness. Review training plans and schedules of subordinate organizations. Provide guidance and assistance to commanders and training personnel pertaining to scheduling and conducting training. Assist with the development of annual operational and training budget requirements. Recommend sub-allocations of funding in accordance with annual funding allowance and established priorities. Evaluate, develop, and maintain command level policies. Evaluate organizational readiness reports and prepare recommendations for improvement to training programs. Develop and review requests for changes to future authorization documents. Provide guidance and assistance to units in the development of deployment/redeployment plans for use in responding to local/state/national emergencies, homeland security missions, and anti-terrorism/force protection. Direct scheduling and coordination for the use of training sites and facilities. Review and forward requests for procurement and acquisition of training aids, manuals, or other instructional material. Conduct preliminary environmental impact assessments for training sites/areas and request formal assessments to state level environmental personnel. Develop Risk Management plans and programs for the command to minimize risks of training activities and increase individual safety awareness. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience that demonstrates the ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures that otherwise demonstrates the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 24 months of experience and knowledge of a wide range of military training and operations management concepts, regulations, policies, and procedures for the purpose of providing the command and staff comprehensive guidance on mission essential tasks to include individual and collective supporting tasks. Experience developing and implementing training and operations management policies and procedures. Experience directing training and operations functions and conducting subordinate unit inspections and assistance visits and evaluate the results. Experience analyzing subordinate unit training and operations functions and reports to identify trends, validate analysis, provide or implement recommendations that result in the enhancement of operational readiness. Experience planning recurring training requirements, ammunition forecast system, and the command training funds system sufficient to propose, request, sub-allocate, execute, and monitor the command training plan and applied resources. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
