SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - TITLE 32

As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN - TITLE 32, GS-2005-7, you will utilize automated information systems and monitor accounting of non-expendable property by units. Review equipment status reports, profile listings and unit status report work lists. Monitor on-hand asset quantities. Participate in studies on utilization of equipment and make recommendations for improvements of equipment readiness. Review and approve turn-ins and lateral transfers requests. Participate in the CSDP, examining, reviewing and appraising the accuracy of property book accountability. Research, review and reconstruct supply transactions to isolate errors and provide guidance. Coordinate and monitor USPFO property book validation and reconciliation. Prepare reports on condition of records, shortages, overages, corrections and actions recommended to improve property accountability. Monitor Modified Tables of Organization and Equipment (MTOE), Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and Common Table of Allowance (CTA) applicable to Command units and activities. Develop and recommend changes to regulations, policies and automated processes on property accountability. Manage the serialization tracking program. Manage loans of equipment within the Command. Validate and ensure Command requests are in accordance with regulatory guidance. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience with supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 12 months experience utilizing governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to supply management. Conducting extensive searches for required information. Reconstructing records for complex supply transactions. Providing supply operations for storage management in special program areas, maintenance, and/or production shops. Performing routine aspects of supply work where assignments include individual case problems related to one of the major areas of supply management, such as inventory management, excess property, storage management, etc. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
