Overview of Job Function:
The Alliance & Channel Manager works as an integral part of the sales team to develop a territory through effective use of alliance and channel partners to meet corporate financial targets.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Identify, recruit and develop new key strategic alliance and partner relationships in the assigned target region
Develop mid to executive level relationships with key alliance and channel partner, ensuring revenue, market share, and growth objectives are met
Manage and maintain channel partner retention, growth, and end user satisfaction
Effectively manage assigned territory.
Communicate and train resale partners on new products and features
Ensure Verint and partners are appropriately engaged throughout all levels of both organizations
Represent Verint products and solutions into partner organization in coordination with technical team and territory managers where applicable
Assess CALA reseller community and promote improvement
Define CALA Channel Sales Program in the region, including deal registration activities
Define Channel certification program and maintain accurate certification data base
Coordinate with partners and Verint Marketing in order to promote join investment on demand generation programs and others
Negotiate alliance and partner agreements; determine appropriate level of discounts (within established guidelines)
Keep current on Verint's positioning, products, functionality, value proposition and ROI
Maintain adequate and accurate forecast/pipeline of potential alliances and channels
Update all relevant reporting timely
Responsible for building and maintaining partner relationships
Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA Degree, Computer Science, Business or Marketing (with technology focus). MBA preferred
A minimum 10 years of experience in channel development in a high tech industry with multi-region territories within CALA
Proven sales success in complex sales environments
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (inside and outside)
Strong and professional communication, presentation and relationship building skills
Must be an independent worker with ability to coordinate efforts within and outside assigned region.
Tri-lingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese)
Excellent time management capabilities
Successful completion of Verint background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in Application software sales
Must be a self-starter willing to put in the time necessary to drive sales activities through Alliances and Channels
Must be able to differentiate Verint value proposition vs. competitors' product positioning
