Responsibilities:
Analyzing component inventory for assigned product lines to determine appropriate stocking levels.
Determining material requirements via MRP system reports.
Monitoring BI Launchpad daily for past due purchase orders and taking necessary follow-up actions.
Establishing material schedules with suppliers and ensuring promised PO delivery dates are met.
Analyzing usage history, component lead times, demand, and forecasts to maintain optimal min/max and safety stock levels.
Conducting daily analysis of component delivery schedules to prevent material shortages.
Contacting suppliers to expedite and resolve material shortages as needed.
Collaborating with various departments including Product Development, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Service to set component stocking levels for customer satisfaction.
Analyzing data to assist in forecasting component demand.
Working to enhance the current ERP System by streamlining and eliminating non-value-added or inefficient processes.
Collaborating with suppliers to reduce material shortages and component lead times.
Processing Engineering Change Orders within 24 hours to ensure proper stock.
Maintaining strong knowledge of assigned commodities and product lines.
Coordinating with QA and Logistics to return excess material to suppliers for credit.
Collaborating with Engineering and Purchasing to make make/buy decisions for new components.
Identifying excess/obsolete component parts for disposal.
Participating in the Material Review Board to disposition Non-Conforming Material.
Contributing to daily Production Meetings to maintain open intra-departmental communication.
Performing daily audits on Supplier receipts and empty returns.
Providing data to the Materials team to promote lean inventory levels in line with defined safety stock levels.
Coordinating the delivery and receipt of materials, working closely with shipping and receiving teams to ensure proper accounting and storage.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required Experience in purchasing or materials in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
Able to perform and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
