Engineering/Maintenance Technician

Summary:
Support the manufacturing areas with plant focus on minimizing down time, increasing productivity and maintain the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures.
IIEssential Job Functions:
ASupport maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
BPerform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
CPerform general building MaintenanceDPerform machine repair, including electrical and robotic equipmentESupport Kaizen and other related activitiesFOther duties as assignedIIIMinimum Qualifications/Requirements :
Education:
o High School diploma or GED requiredo Industrial Maintenance Associates degree preferredo Intermediate to advanced electrical training certifications
Experience:
o 2-5 years' extensive skills in robotics tuning, electrical and PLC troubleshooting,o Extensive skills in programming software to optimize process improvements and trouble-shoot,o Intermediate to advanced programming of A/B processors preferred.
Personal/Technical Skills:
o Self-starter with strong work ethico Good problem solving and analytical skillso Flexibility in a changing environmento Mandatory overtime flexibilityLanguage Skills:
o English, both written and verbalComputer/Software:
o Basic Microsoft Office applicationso RS Logix programming software, Factory Talk View for panel views, Micrologix, RS Logix 5000, Mitsubishi; A series.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hearThe team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 poundsTeam members must be capable to work from aerial platformsTeam member must be able to climb fixed, portable and stationary ladders up to 25ft.
