aspx By joining the Division of Waste Management, Underground Storage Tank Branch, Compliance Section as an Administrative Specialist I in Franklin County, you will have the opportunity to protect the human health and safety and the Environment by minimizing the amount of releases into the environment and ensuring any release is found early to minimize contamination.
Holders of the Administrative Specialist I position will complete tasks such as:
Organizing and reviewing UST Compliance testing, inspections, certifications, and other documents to meet regulatory requirements.
Interpret UST compliance documents and other correspondence.
Draft correspondence relating to UST Compliance.
Assisting the public with regulatory requirements regarding the TOOLs training program.
Desired candidates possess the following requisite skills or experience applicable to the position:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience or knowledge of large database processes and development is desired but not required.
Additional position information:
The majority of time is spent using a computer in an office setting.

Minimum Requirements EDUCATION:
High School Graduate EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Three years of experience in business, administrative work, research, or clerical experience.

College will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
