Job Description:
Frankfort Primary Care Job
Summary:
The Patient Care Technician will be responsible for the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of the physician or advanced practice clinician.
Duties include but not limited to the following:
check in patients, obtaining vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, pulse oximetry, temperature) and medication reconciliation, patient medical history information, expediting patient flow, rooming patients, stocking clinic with supplies, navigating electronic health record system (EPIC), and performing other non-clinical duties as needed.
The PCT will communicate in a respectful manner and will uphold Baptist's mission and core values that drive service excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills, specifically with navigating within databases containing highly confidential information.
Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate, within 90 days of hire.
Upon hire these disciplines will be required to attend orientation externship and additional training as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
