This position supports the Human Resources Administration Branch with personnel and payroll processing for Kentucky State Parks.

The main duties of this job include but are not limited to:
Process personnel, payroll, and benefits actions in KHRIS.
Draft HR-related correspondence as directed by the Appointing Authority.
Compile personnel and payroll reports.
Provide administrative support to the HR management team.
Assist HR Administrators and HR Management with HR-related training.
Preferred skills and abilities:
Knowledge of KHRIS or experience working in other human resource information systems Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain adaptable, demonstrate empathy, and active listening skills.
Attention to detail and ability to keep up with multiple deadlines.
Minimum Requirements EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
One year of professional experience in personnel administration, business administration or management.

Administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Current or prior military experience will substitute for the required college on a year for year basis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
