Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, elderly individuals, or individuals with chronic illnesses - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide medication reminders - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care, childcare, social work, or patient care is preferred - Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Skills:
- Knowledge of systems for providing in-home care services - Familiarity with the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses - Experience in meal preparation and following dietary restrictions - Ability to clean and maintain a safe living environment for clients Note:
