Description Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA) is currently seeking a Programmer/Analyst I for the Division ofEnterprise and Technology Services, Application Services Branch II.
Located in Frankfort, Kentucky, KPPA isresponsible for the daily administration of three state administered retirement systems with $25 billion incombined assets.
These systems have a membership of approximately 421,000 state and local government employeesin the Commonwealth of Kentucky, including state employees, state police officers, city and county employees,as well as non-teaching staff of local school boards and regional universities.
The KPPA Division of Enterprise and Technology Services is staffed by 43 technology professionals divided upbetween 7 branches.
The Application Services Branch currently consists of 16 information technologyprofessionals skilled in application development and database administration.

Key
Responsibilities:
Works with peers to write, modify, test, and debug computer software requiring simple changes fromspecifications in select Line of Business functional areas.
With assistance, creates reports via SQL Server Reporting Server, writes simple queries in MicrosoftSQL, develops NUnit test cases, and prepares various team documentation.
Resolves simple problems in select Line of Business functional areas and compiles data to testprograms.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Basic knowledge of Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and SQL Server Management software Good understanding of VB.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
