Description The Kentucky Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) is a multi-faceted agency that provides services and program to enhance the self-sufficiency of families; improve safety and permanency for children and vulnerable adults; and engage families and community partners in a collaborative decision-making process.
DCBS seeks a Family Services Office Supervisor who is driven to succeed in helping people and advance family self-sufficiency.

The Family Service Office Supervisor is a skilled team member, providing a vital link between the children, families and local community partners as well as providing a link between frontline staff and Regional and Central Office staff.

aspx Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interprets policy and procedure, and directs all aspects of family based services, including but not limited to, ensuring all child protective services investigations are initiated timely and all casework associated with investigations or ongoing cases is completed timely and in a qualitative manner.
Reviews and evaluates casework; conducts case consults; identifies staff development and training needs and develop plans for staff training as needed.
Uses management reports to develop action plans to meet outcomes in program areas including holding staff accountable through appropriate tracking and follow-up.
Ensures tracking system of case responsibility for team.
Coordinate and supervise personnel functions within region assuring adherence to policy and procedure following hiring criteria, appropriate use of progressive discipline.
Maintain appropriate documentation of all consults, staff meetings, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

A master's degree in social work, sociology, psychology or a related field.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Four years of professional social work experience.
