By joining our Office of Audits/Division of Road Fund Audits/ as a/an Auditor I in Franklin County, you'll have the opportunity to performs beginning professional level audit work in the analysis of financial and statistical records, reports and statements, and accounting policies and procedures.
Holders of the Auditor I position will complete tasks such as:
Learns to prepare work papers; ensure they are complete to support audit findings, recommendations, and audit reports; and they are completed in an agreed upon manner.
Conducts preliminary research to audit.
Begins applying professional auditing standards, methods, and procedures to identify, analyze and make recommendations as required.
Conducts fieldwork portion of audit with some assistance and examines documentation to ensure compliance with federal and/or state policies and regulations.
Develops a working knowledge of applicable federal and state policies and regulations to assist in development of the audit program and audit report.
Holders of this job will obtain the following skills:
Develops skills with Excel, Word, Access, Teammate, Transportation web-based sites.
Develops knowledge of federal and state policies and regulations Develops audit interview skills/techniques.
Develops knowledge in completing audit work schedules and report writing.
Desired candidates possess the following requisite skills or experience applicable to the position:
Bachelor's degree 20 hours of Accounting.
Will require some travel to perform on-site audits.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
