Description Would you like to be a part of the Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program (KMCP) team? The goal of the KMCP is to ensure Kentuckians suffering from serious medical conditions have safe, affordable access to medical cannabis.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual to provide executive level administrative support to leadership.
This position will serve as executive level secretary and provide administrative support for the Kentucky Medical Cannabis Program.
Job duties include:
Oversees the administration of general office functions for the KMCP and takes detailed notes of office meetings.
Drafts correspondence, memos and reports for Executive Leadership and proofreads correspondence and reports for accuracy.
Schedules appointments, arranges travel schedule and reservations, and provides information to callers.
Files correspondence, legal documents, reports and other records.
Maintains filing system.
Schedules hearings as needed.
Keeps office manuals current and compiles data to be used in reports.
Prepares any records required by the duties of the office.
The ideal candidate would have:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate efficient organizational and multi-tasking skills Attention to detail Good time management skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to work independently or as part of a team Experience scheduling meetings in and with Outlook/TEAMS/ZOOM Experience making travel arrangements for staff Bachelor's Degree The Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in U.
