Rest Area Assistant Project Supervisors are responsible for cleaning and helping the Project Supervisor manage operations at their assigned rest s), including supervising and directing the work of rest area Attendants and Shift Supervisors.
Assistant Project Supervisor job duties include but are not limited to:
Helping the Project Supervisor in managing the staffs daily work assignments and duties, dress code, behavior, attendance, disciplinary actions, and job performance.
Completing and sending appropriate paperwork to CSP Inc.
's Business Office, including payroll as needed.
Conducting interviews of prospective new employees.
Providing new employees with orientation, health and workplace safety training, cleaning techniques, and daily work assignments.
Writing a schedule to suit business needs and fulfill contract needs as well as replacing absent employees as they call into work.
Ensuring all rest area staff utilize CSP Inc.
's Handbook, Health and Workplace Safety Policies, personal protective equipment, and safety data sheets, equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and appropriate manner in the performance of daily work assignments.
Maintaining all supplies, materials, equipment, and inventory on an on-going basis, while ensuring that needed materials, supplies and equipment are on hand as needed, while keeping inventory as s mall as possible while ensuring availability.
Repairing equipment as necessary.
Cleaning the rest area grounds, buildings, lobbies, restrooms, vending areas, parking areas and ramps.
This includes s weeping and mopping floors, washing windows and glass doors, cleaning commodes, urinals, sinks and mirrors, stocking toilet paper and soap, keeping sidewalks, parking lots, and lawn areas free of litter and debris, and emptying trash containers.
