Note:
Must-Have a BG in using R and Tableau.
This is vital within the day to day Creating Tableau dashboards and making them more interactive for users.
Develop, maintain, and update as necessary statistical tables and graphs, conduct analyses and work with a variety of stakeholders to create reports and information products that, at a minimum, meet the public reporting requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Develop, maintain, and update as necessary an online dashboard to fulfill the data needs of the Office of Special Education and Early Learning (OSEEL).
The dashboard will be both internal and public-facing.
Utilize data from the Client Longitudinal Data System (KLDS) to develop, maintain, and update reports using database reporting software as well as statistical software packages when needed to conduct advanced analyses under the direction of the OSEEL leadership team.
Work with state and public agency staff and other individuals to understand and document their data needs, develop report proofs, and create reports, dashboards, or other items to fulfill their data needs.
Work closely with the technical and grant expansion team to identify and document additional data sources for inclusion in the KLDS.
Develop and disseminate training to state and local district staff on the use of developed products.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience coordinating analytical projects, extensive statistical reports, and applying advanced statistical methods Strong communication skills with the ability to write and present material clearly which can be easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences (required please provide examples) Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, SAS/SPSS/STATA/R, or other statistical software required Background in Special Education, Early Childhood, and quantitative methods is preferred Experience with Tableau is a must, experience with ARC GIS, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SSRS, or other report writing software preferred Required
Experience:
Experience developing statistical reports, conducting analyses, and preparing complex information for agency leadership, education and workforce practitioners, and the policy maker communities Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing longitudinal data.
A Master's or Doctoral degree in quantitative statistics-based academic disciplines such as social or behavioral science, policy studies, or economics is preferred Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field with experience above the required minimum may be considered a substitute for a master's degree Content expertise in Special Education and Early Childhood preferred Job Type:
