They help develop communication initiatives, website and social media content, and assist in the creation of marketing assets for the credit union, including business development and financial education materials.
They initiate innovative ideas that will appeal to target audiences.
The duties and responsibilities of a Content Writer include, but are not limited to:
Copywriting Creating content for the marketing and communications team, as well as supports content needs for Business Development, Financial Education and others.
Content includes, but are not limited to web, email, flyers, blog, social media, awards and press releases.
Research Conducting research on a variety of topics to effectively create and edit content.
Identifying gaps in content and making recommendations to improve user experience.
Optimization Optimizing copy for search engine optimization (SEO) Distilling complex concepts and language into clear and concise messages.
Using knowledge of target audiences to craft appropriate messaging.
Editing Editing content to ensure voice, grammar and style are on brand.
Initiating content reviews actively.
Using knowledge and tools such as Grammarly to ensure quality work.
Revising content upon request.
Collaboration Collaborating with internal members to define their content needs.
Ensuring alignment and consistency in messaging, brand and style.
Travel is required for this position.
Applicant must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Qualifications Skills Preferred Collaboration Advanced Analytical Advanced Leadership Advanced Problem Solving Advanced Sound Decision Making Advanced Communication Advanced Education Preferred Bachelors or better in Communication or related field.
